After nine years of marriage, a Los Angeles court granted the divorce of Precious actress Paula Patton and ‘Blurred Lines’ singer Robin Thicke, a report by Cleveland.com stated on March 18.
According to the report, April 14 will be the official date of their split. The 39-year-old actress has been Thicke’s inspiration for many of his songs and has also been featured in some of his music videos. The ex-couple has a four-year-old son together.
The report came after Thicke and his ‘Blurred Lines’ co-artist Pharrell were ordered by the court to pay Marvin Gaye’s family nearly $7.4 million for copying some elements of the late singer’s 1977 song ‘Got to Give it Up.’
