Collins’ leaked recording may influence divorce outcome

A leaked recording of Stephen Collins’ alleged child molestation confession might influence the outcome of the divorce proceeding between him and his ex, Faye Grant, CBS News reported on October 9.

According to the report, Collins’ attorney accused Grant of releasing the audio file in which his client reportedly admitted his sexual misconduct with female minors. Collins’ legal counsel said Grant has been threatening the former 7th Heaven cast member with giving the audiotape to the media if he declines to pay her millions of dollars more than what she is legally entitled in the divorce settlement.

Grant refuted the allegations, saying that she had long ago turned over the recording to the authorities in connection with a 2012 criminal investigation.
