Daryl Hall, of Hall & Oates fame, and his wife, Amanda Aspinall, have filed for divorce in Connecticut, where the couple lived together with Aspinall’s two sons from a previous relationship, March and Orson.
Aspinall, daughter of the late, famed British zoo owner John Aspinall, sang backup for Hall on his 2011 album, “Laughing Down Crying.” The pair were married in 2009, and reportedly had a prenuptial agreement in place. Divorce documents to end the six year marriage were filed back in May, but have only recently surfaced.
This divorce marks the second split for the singer, who was married to Bryna Lubin for three years in the late 60s and early 70s.
