Keegan Michael-Key Files for Divorce from Wife of 17 years

Comedian Keegan Michael-Key recently announced that he has filed for divorce from his wife of 17 years, actress and vocal coach Cynthia Blaise. The couple, who married in 1998, have been separated since early November, but Key only recently made it official with the divorce filing. Key is famous for his Comedy Central sketch series “Key and Peele” while Blaise has starred in comedy films such as Bad Teacher and now works as a dialect coach.

Key and Blaise married in December of 1998 and have no children together. Key cited irreconcilable differences in the divorce filings and has asked for a postponing of proceedings involving spousal support.
