Little People, Big World couple files for divorce

Matt and Amy Roloff of TLC’s Little People, Big World announced on June 5, that they have officially filed for divorce after a trial separation lasting several months, according to Us Weekly. In March of 2014, the couple announced that Matt was to move out of their shared home, while still working with Amy to co-parent and run their family farm in Helvetia, Oregon.

Matt and Amy were first introduced to the world during the 2006 premiere of their TLC show, Little People, Big World. The show lasted six seasons and was followed by three specials.

The couple cited insurmountable differences as the reason for their filing, and Matt elaborated in his press release by saying he “never quite felt at home” in his own house. Despite the problems that ended their 27-year-long marriage, the two remain dedicated to their four children.
