Nine months after making a statement that they would be splitting up, Marc Anthony has now filed for divorce from Jennifer Lopez.

Online entertainment news source, TMZ, broke the story after they claimed that sources close the couple had a “heart-to-heart” talk about their marriage and whether or not they were ready to end it.

It was also reported that Anthony was not ready to file for divorce, but Lopez had already found a new love interest. After the talk, Anthony filed divorce papers.
