The divorce of actors Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith has officially been finalized. The two stars’ final divorce comes after Griffith filed in June of 2014 after 18 years of marriage. According to the divorce agreement, Banderas is reportedly being required to pay up to $55,000 a month in spousal support to Griffith; however, he will be able to keep a substantial amount of money earned from his acting and directing career. Griffith will reportedly keep their house in Aspen as well. They also divided other assets, including profits from their Los Angeles mansion.
Despite the financial implications of the divorce, the couple has spoken out about remaining close friends after running a business and starring in films together during their marriage. This marks the end of Griffith’s fourth marriage and Banderas’ second.
