Neil Young and wife, Pegi Young, have decided to pull the plug off their 36 years of marriage in a petition requesting for dissolution of marriage filed at their hometown of San Mateo, California.
According to a report by Rolling Stone, the divorce papers were filed by Neil Young on July 29, and a hearing is scheduled for December 12. Neil Young has not yet commented about the split.
The couple’s last performance together was at a benefit concert for Bridge School in October last year. The school was co-founded by the two for the education of children with severe disabilities.
