Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey was recently served divorce papers from his wife Jillian Fink, according to reports in late January from ABC News.
Dempsey and Fink have been married for 15 years, having tied the knot in 1999. Fink cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. Dempsey has one previous marriage. Fink requested that they share custody of their three children. She is also asking Dempsey to pay child support as well as spousal support. The amount of each is unspecified in the reports.
The pair released a joint statement about their decision to end their marriage. They asked media and others to respect the family’s privacy during this time, as the couple is focused on the well-being of their children.
